A name or location entered into a search tool passes to the outside provider operating it. We do not store or log those terms. Messages are kept as needed to reply and are not shared outside the organization unless legally required.

How Data Is Used

Links lead to jail reports, sheriff and corrections pages, government portals, and search tools. Each destination has its own privacy policy. Ad partners may track activity across sites on their systems.
Who May Receive Data
Personal data is not sold. Search partners, analytics providers, ad networks, and government or law-enforcement bodies acting under a valid legal order may receive relevant data.

Reasonable safeguards are used, but no connected service is fully secure or breach-proof.
Users Under Eighteen
The site is for adults and does not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. A guardian may use the Contacts page to request deletion.
Your Rights
Where applicable, users may request access, correction, deletion, or an opt-out from certain processing. These choices concern site-held data, not official records governed by the Illinois Freedom of Information Act, 5 ILCS 140.
